What is an ACO?

An Accountable Care Organization (ACO) is a group of doctors, hospitals, and health care providers working together to provide you with higher quality, coordinated care and lower overall costs. The goal of an ACO is for your doctors to communicate more closely with your other health care providers to meet your unique individual health care needs and preferences. In addition, the Monarch HealthCare ACO can provide nurse, pharmacist and health educator services if you have questions or need additional support for any health related needs.
